Descripción de mi trabajo
Mi trabajo problematiza por medio de la producción de imágenes, acciones y objetos, la relación entre la psicología, la identidad y nuestro entorno. El material y el modo de realizar mis trabajos provienen de la idea a desarrollar, entendiendo que la relación física que establecen los materiales no es directa ni inocente.
Concibo el funcionamiento de la psiquis, la memoria y el quehacer del hombre como un campo de tensiones y significaciones abiertas, que poseen la riqueza de resignificarse infinitamente.
En mi obra pictórica construyo escenarios, objetos y sujetos que habitan un universo paralelo al que conocemos. Con rasgos reconocibles pero organizados bajo sus propias normas.
Los personajes navegan sin rumbo, realizan rituales inexplicables y los colores viajan y se arrastran a través de las superficies. La geometría y el mundo onírico se hacen presentes en un extraño despliegue espacial. Los símbolos aparecen para decirnos algo al oído pero esa voz nunca revela del todo lo que intentamos escuchar. Hay un misterio oculto en cada obra y cada espectador podrá descubrirlo, construirlo y reinterpretarlo en cada lectura.
La ambigüedad en las imágenes me interesan como modos de tejer posibles redes de sentido y ampliar las evocaciones que pueda tener cualquier imagen.
Description of my work
Through the production of images, actions, and objects, my work explores the relationship between psychology, identity, and our environment. The choice of materials and the way I approach my work stem from the concept being developed, recognizing that the physical relationship established by materials is neither direct nor neutral.
I perceive the workings of the psyche, memory, and human labor as a field of tensions and open meanings, rich in their ability to be infinitely reinterpreted.
In my pictorial work, I construct scenarios, objects, and figures that inhabit a universe parallel to our own—recognizable yet governed by its own rules.
Characters drift aimlessly, perform inexplicable rituals, and colors move and spread across surfaces. Geometry and the dream world merge in a strange spatial arrangement. Symbols seem to whisper secrets in our ears, yet their voices never fully reveal what we long to understand. Each piece holds a hidden mystery, inviting viewers to discover, construct, and reinterpret its meaning with every encounter.
I am drawn to ambiguity in images as a way to weave networks of possible meanings, expanding the range of associations that any image may evoke.
